Contributed Papers

Directions on publishing contributed papers in the conference proceedings.

The Deadline for submission of manuscripts is June 20, 2010.

Authors should submit their paper via the IOP editorial-manager website. http://www.editorialmanager.com/sces2010/. (do not submit manuscripts to Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter, or to the Journal of Physics: Conference Series website directly.)

All registered participants are invited to submit a conference proceedings paper of 4 pages in length. Accepted manuscripts will be published in Journal of Physics: Conference Series. Oral speakers (and a few selected contributed papers) have been invited to submit a manuscript to a ‘SCES topical special issue’ of Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter. The combined proceedings will be published jointly.

All papers will be peer-reviewed using the rigors of the IOP Peer Review Policy

The proceedings of SCES 2010 will be published in the open access Journal of Physics: Conference Series (JPCS), published by IOP Publishing. All papers will be free to read and download immediately upon publication. Papers published in JPCS will be hosted in IOP Publishing’s electronic journals system and will be fully citable – in addition, citations to your paper also will be tracked online.

The guidelines for authors (oral and poster contributions) are available at the Journal of Physics: Conference Series website that provides the template and guideline packages for Microsoft Word and LaTex2e, or download the JPCS files, see bottom of this page.

Licensing, copyright, etc.: By submitting an article for publication in JPCS, the author is assumed to accept the terms of the Proceedings Publication License. In addition, by submitting an article the authors declare that the paper does not infringe third party rights, contain libelous, and/or contain unlawful statements.  The assignment of copyright form is no longer required.
