Invited Papers

Directions for preparing and publishing manuscripts of oral speakers (and selected contributors) in the SCES topical special issue of the Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter.

The deadline and additional details for preparing your manuscript is provided in your invitation letter from Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter.

Authors should submit their paper directly to the Journal of Physics: Condensed Matter website (not the editorial manager website for contributed papers): http://authors.iop.org/atom/usermgmt.nsf/AuthorServices?OpenForm&ISSN=0953-8984

All contributions should strictly report new, original results that are unpublished elsewhere. In particular, we are not seeking review material.  The topic and content of your article may differ significantly from your conference presentation in order to fulfill this strict criterion.  As a guide, contributions should be of the order of 8 published pages in length (although there is some flexibility).

The proceedings will be published jointly together with the contributions to Journal of Physics: Conference Series.

All papers will be peer-reviewed using the rigors of the IOP Peer Review Policy. The journal adopts a strict peer-review procedure and all contributions to this special issue will be expected to meet the usual strict demands in terms of scientific quality and impact on the field.
